OnePlus 5T Android 8.1 Oreo update

The OnePlus 5T arrived on November 21, 2017, in North America and Europe running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, with a tweaked OxygenOS on top.

OnePlus confirmed at launch that the OnePlus 5T would be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo in the coming months, which eventually came to pass in late January. OnePlus has rolled out a stable Oreo update to the OnePlus 3, 3T, and 5, as well as its most recent flagship.

Shortly after the 5T’s release, OnePlus confirmed that every phone from the OnePlus 3 onwards will support Android 8.1 Oreo, but not Project Treble.
