If you are someone who likes to frequently change the wallpaper on your smartphone, these apps are definitely worth checking out. The entire list is really long, but here are a few favorites that we recommend –

  • Muzei Live Wallpaper – Muzei is a live wallpaper that showcases famous works of art. The image refreshes every day. You can also choose to use your own photos from the device gallery and the app rotates through your favorite photos every few hours. The app is also developer friendly and lets you build your own wallpaper source.
  • Tapet – Tapet is a wallpaper generator that lets you pick the pattern and color scheme of the wallpaper. There are is a seemingly unlimited number of possibilities with more patterns and designs being added with every update. The app automatically figures out your display resolution and size to provide the highest quality image.
  • Wallpapers and Backgrounds – As the name suggests, this app houses an extensive collection of wallpapers that you can sort based on category or check out the latest, highest rated, or random wallpapers available. The app automatically figures out the display resolution and size and only showcases the wallpapers that will fit. It’s one of my favorite wallpaper apps that I use all the time.
  • Walli – Walli is one of the best wallpaper apps and definitely worth downloading. You get to browse through a slew of creative pieces of art, follow your favorite artists, and of course, set these images as wallpapers. Artists also get rewarded for their work. If you are looking for some unique backgrounds for your phone, Walli is the way to go.
  • Wallpapers HD and 4K Backgrounds – This app features over 120,000 wallpapers and backgrounds, and as the name suggests, all images are available at the highest smartphone display resolutions. You can sort images by date, rating, and popularity, search by color, and browse through over 70 categories.
  • Imgur — This app/website is one of the largest image platforms on the web. It is not solely wallpaper focused but if you don’t mind searching, the sheer variety of coo it offers is unbeatable.
