Best G-Sync Monitors:

Editor’s note: We will update this post as more G-Sync monitors are released.

1. Acer Predator XB3 G-Sync Monitor

The Acer Predator XB3 is definitely one of the best G-Sync monitors, especially for 4K PC gaming. This monitor has a 27-inch 16:9 IPS display with a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution. The refresh rate normally is 60Hz with its HDMI port. However, if you use its DisplayPort option, you can boost that refresh rate up to 144Hz.
You can go up to 1,000 nits of brightness with this monitor, and there’s also a 576-zone LED backlight. You can also expect HDR 10 support. For $1,299, this Acer monitor is not exactly cheap, it’s certainly priced reasonably when you consider the features you get.

2. Asus ROG Swift PG279Q

The Asus ROG Swift PG279Q has many of the same features as the previous Acer monitor. However, its price is several hundred dollars less. That’s due in part to the fact that the 27-inch Asus monitor has a lower resolution of 2,560 x 1,440.

If you can live with that, you will still benefit from features like a refresh rate that can go up to 164Hz. You also get a way to change the blue light coming from the screen, with four different levels available. That should cut out eye strain as you play games for hours. Finally, first-person shooter fans can use a special overlay for four different crosshair choices.

3. Asus ROG Swift PG27UQ

The Asus ROG Swift PG27UQ is basically the upgraded version of the PG279Q G-Sync monitor. You have the same 27-inch IPS display, but the resolution goes up to 3,840 x 2,160. The refresh rate goes to 144Hz, and its peak brightness goes up to 1,000 nits brightness.

The monitor has 384 local dimming zones, and of course, it supports HDR for the best colors while you play games. Finally, it has Rheinland-certified blue light filters so your eyes won’t feel as much strain after a marathon gaming session. It’s not cheap at $1,499, however.

4. Dell S2417DG

If you are on a budget, but still want one of the best G-Sync monitors, check out this Dell model. You will save at least a few hundred dollars on the S2417DG compared to the Asus and Acer monitors. However, you will also have to live with a smaller 24-inch display. The resolution is still pretty high at 2,560 x 1,440, and the refresh rate can go up to 165Hz. The response time on this monitor can go down to as low as 1ms. Finally, it uses anti-flicker tech for the best gaming experience.

5. Acer Predator X35

Want to go ultra-wide? Then the Acer Predator X35 is for you. This 35-inch 21:9 curved display has a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, and you can bump up the refresh rate to 200Hz. It supports VESA certificated DisplayHDR 1000 for better images and clarity.

The brightness level goes up to 1,000 nits, and users quantum dots for its pixels for excellent colors. Acer has put in what it calls the Predator Game Mode, which allows you to automatically switch between game profiles. This will allow you to have the best experience while playing different kinds of games. All of this comes at a pretty high price of $2,499, but it may be worth it for one of the best G-Sync monitors.

6. Alienware 1900R

If you want an ultra-wide display on a lower budget than the Acer model, consider this monitor from Alienware. It has a 34.1-inch 21:9 display with a resolution of 3,440 X 1,440. The refresh rate is pretty average at 120Hz, and the response time is a bit slower at 4ms. On the plus side, it has a pretty sleek design with an ultra-thin bezel.

It also has Alienware’s AlienFX tech, with four customized RGB lighting zones that you can have fun playing with. Best of all, this big and wide monitor has a price that’s within most PC gamers’ budget and regularly drops below $999.

That’s our look at the best G-Sync monitors for the best gaming PC experience with Nvidia graphics. We’ll update this list as more G-Sync monitors hit the market.
