Plants vs Zombies 2 Finally Hits Android Devices Worldwide

Image
\ It’s pretty ironic that the sequel to the hit mobile title is called “It’s About Time”, especially when we’re talking about a game that launched on iOS months before it did on Android. Which, for a studio like PopCap shouldn’t really be happening. Nevertheless, the game is finally live in the Play Store for folks to go and download and get stuck into over the weekend. Unlike other zombie games, Plants vs Zombies 2 takes you throughout time and doesn’t just keep you in what feels like end days. Gameplay wise, you’ll know the score if you’ve played the original but, there are some tweaks and whatnot to make this a worthy sequel. There are some reports of the game not working on all devices so, if that’s the case for you – leave a comment in the Play Store. That way, PopCap can start fixing things, knowledge is power. If fans of the series were worried about in-app payments creeping in and ruining things well, depending on how you feel about in-app payments, you were right to worry. The

Best Android Customization apps and Tips

Tip: Keep it simple It happens so frequently that most of us barely wince when we see it anymore. A cluttered homescreen. And we can own up to our mistakes, we’ve been guilty of this before. Letting your homescreen get cluttered is one of those bad habits that you can easily slip into. And a lot of people do. In fact, it can be found on an almost daily basis, a homescreen that simply has too much on it. One of the worst parts about this is that average consumers who aren’t nerdy often say that they don’t like the way Android looks. But when asked what they don’t like, they often show their homescreen which is almost inevitably cluttered. Reaction? Facepalm. A cluttered homescreen is just a turn-off. It makes it look haphazard and thrown together. When there’s a random blend of apps, widgets and folders on a homescreen, it doesn’t look like the person even thought about how it was laid out. And that’s why simplicity is so important. The simpler your homescreen is, the more appealing it

Plants vs Zombies 2 Arrives at the Play Store

Image
A couple of weeks ago we reported that Plants vs Zombies 2 had been released to Android on the Chinese market.  For those who didn’t speak Mandarin it was fairly difficult to understand the game play and have been eagerly awaiting it’s release onto the Google Play Store.  Well, the wait is over.  Today EA have released the game to the Google Play Store for those wanting to jump in and play the latest iteration of one of the most addictive games on the Play Store head on over to the Play Store and give it a go. Having tried the Chinese version I think this PvZ followup adds a whole new dimension to the game and is a freemium game that seems to be done well without requiring many, if any, compulsory in-app purchases to finish. I was unable to complete the game in Chinese which I completely blame on my limited Mandarin. In the words of EA: The zombies are coming… back. It’s about time! The sequel to the hit action-strategy adventure brings the fun to tablets and touchscreens. Join Craz
