Google Now Features debut on Desktop and Mobile Search
Google officially announced that some of its Google Now features will be making their way to its desktop client as well as its mobile search applications, back in May at its I/O event. Over the next few days, Google will be rolling out travel information, reservations, calendar events and much, much more through Google Search. This data will be pulled from your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google+ accounts and then fed into your search page, to produce an answer to your query. You will be able to either type or speak your question in order to instantly receive a response – just like Google Now. The enquiries that will be available, starting this week, include: Flights: Ask Google “Is my flight on time?” to get info on your upcoming flights and live status on your current flights. Reservations: Ask for “my reservations” to see your dining plans or “my hotel” to get your hotel name and address.
