Image
Well here we go. We know we’re getting closer and closer to the announcement of the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 – KitKat. So far there’s no official word on when the announcement will take place, no invites sent yet either. This evening it looks like the Nexus 5 is showing up on the Google Play website now. If you go to Devices then select the “Nexus” heading, you’ll see the image above. As you can see it lists the Nexus 5, 7 and 10. This pretty much confirms the Nexus 5 will be priced at $349 for the 16GB version. So how do we know it’s the 16GB version? Check out the end of this link   https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_5_black_16gb , that explains it all. Nexus 5, black, 16GB all for $349. While you can click on the Nexus 5., you can’t actually see anymore information about the Nexus 5. So like we said, it’s sort of there. There are so many rumors going around about announcement dates for the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4. We really don’t know when it’s coming. But we do

The leaks just won’t stop. This evening we got a couple of treats. A semi-listing of the Nexus 5 showed up in the Google Play Store, all but confirming the Nexus 5 name, 16GB model and pricing. We’ve also found a press image that you’re all going to love! So far the specs aren’t confirmed. But based on the render we can see some of the UI changes in Android 4.4 – KitKat. As you can see the navigation bar and status bar appear to be transparent. Also the page indicator, app drawer icon and folders have all changed a bit. Nothing too fancy, but it is a noticeable change. Additionally the icons in the status bar up top are now gray/white. Which we’ve seen rumored for weeks now. The Camera also has a new icon. Looks a bit more like the Touchwiz icon. Additionally the Hangouts app is in the dock, which wasn’t there before. Which tells us that we might be seeing SMS integration in Android 4.4, which is something we’ve all been wishing for, for quite a long time. As far as the specs go, we’

Need to get your hands on the rumored LG Nexus 5, like right now? A new 3D render based on Nexus 5 rumors popped up on Reddit  this weekend, letting Nexus fans get a virtual hands-on with the device. The Nexus 5 is expected to be manufactured by LG, with the first pictures of the device showing up alongside the unveiling of Google’s KitKat statue from a few weeks ago. A few Googlers were pictured handling what we believe to be the Nexus 5, with FCC filings following shortly thereafter. While Google and LG have not mentioned anything official about the upcoming Nexus device, the  Nexus 5 is expected  to come packing a 5-inch display, Qi-wireless charging support, 7 band LTE and a Snapdragon 800 processor. It will undoubtedly be running on Google’s yet to be released Android 4.4  KitKat . The Nexus 5 is rumored to be announced on October 5th. Until then, check out the render below! Nexus Alert: New Nexus 5 Passes Through the FCC, Made by LG

Now that Google really kicked off the Nexus 5 rumors, we’re on a roll. Today’s tasty tidbit comes courtesy of the FCC, which just green-lighted a new LG device that looks remarkably like the rumored new Nexus device that a Google employee was  spotted using . In fact, we’re almost sure that it’s the same device. It features the same slightly curved design and the large opening for the camera lens. The device, which goes by the name of D820, also features NFC and Qi wireless charging as revealed by the picture. Seeing as both of those features were emphasized in last year’s Nexus 4, we’re not surprised to see them in this year’s Nexus phone. And if this is the new Nexus device, it features a bounty of cellular support. LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 17, 25, 26 and 41 are all supported as well as EVDO rev A, quadband GSM and EDGE, pentaband HSPA+, and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 B, G and N connections. That means that this new device features full GSM support as well as support for LTE on AT&T, Sprin
