Leaked Photo of Ongoing iPhone 5S Quality checks
With its expected official announcement just around the corner, Apple’s rumored “iPhone 5C,” which is said to be launched alongside the equally rumored “iPhone 5S,” has been turning up in leaked photos. And apparently, one of the latest of such photos comes to us right out of Pegatron, one of Apple’s major suppliers. The new photo, which appears to show a number of iPhone 5C units undergoing a rather topsy-turvy quality control setup, was first spotted by NoWhereElse . But it was Engadget that did some further sleuthing and concluded that the photo was posted on Sina Weibo by an employee of Pegatron’s Shanghai plant: According to her posts, the cheeky employee — or more likely an ex-employee at this point — in question joined the company’s quality control department around mid-July. In an earlier comment, she also hinted that her plant is responsible for the latest Mac mini as well.
