Well here we go. We know we’re getting closer and closer to the announcement of the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 – KitKat. So far there’s no official word on when the announcement will take place, no invites sent yet either. This evening it looks like the Nexus 5 is showing up on the Google Play website now. If you go to Devices then select the “Nexus” heading, you’ll see the image above. As you can see it lists the Nexus 5, 7 and 10. This pretty much confirms the Nexus 5 will be priced at $349 for the 16GB version. So how do we know it’s the 16GB version? While you can click on the Nexus 5., you can’t actually see anymore information about the Nexus 5. So like we said, it’s sort of there. There are so many rumors going around about announcement dates for the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4. We really don’t know when it’s coming. But we do

At this point, you would imagine that everything there is to know about the Nexus 5 is out there for all to see. Well, in most cases that’s true however, one of the key aspects of the Nexus line still remains a mystery to us; until now. Pricing for both models of the Nexus 5 have seemingly leaked out and if you were unhappy with both the storage and battery options of last year, prepare to be excited. An anonymous tipster has given  PhoneArena   information on what could be pricing for the two models of the Nexus 5. Apparently, the Nexus 5 16GB model will be shipping with a 2,300 mAh Battery for $299. Meanwhile, there’s a beefier option for $399, which gets you 32GB of Storage and a 3,000 mAh battery. This is a change from last year’s offering from LG that came in either 8 or 16GB flavors for $299 or $349, respectively. Last year’s Nexus however, disappointed a lot of users thanks to its 2,100 mAh battery. When the user manual leaked and gave us what we thought was all the device’s sec

With the Nexus 4 now being the oldest device in the Nexus stable, it's time to turn our attention to the Nexus 5? When will the Nexus 5 launch? What will be different? How will it compare to the Nexus 4? There's a swirl of rumour and speculation circulating the internet as we head into autumn, the traditional launch time for a Nexus smartphone refresh. Here we're pulling together all the details and trying to separate the wheat from the chaff and build a picture of Google's next Nexus smartphone. We'll update the feature as and when new details become known. Nexus 5 release date The Nexus 4 was launched on 29 October 2012, replacing the Galaxy Nexus, launched before that on 19 October 2011. LG may have just revealed their new LG G2 smartphone, but that isn’t all they have in the works. With countless reports and rumors surrounding the next Nexus, some stating it will be from LG, previous reports claimed they have no part in the device. That, and today’s new rumor comes just days after reports surfaced that Moto is up next for the Nexus 5. The VP of LG Europe recently stated that the company is in fact not working on the “Nexus 5″ smartphone. The VP Won Kim went on to mention “ The Nexus 4 was a great success despite the production problems for us and Google,” and continued that with comments that they’d do it again, but don’t “need” to. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard those comments either, and now they seem pointless if these rumors are correct. According to My Drivers things are certainly in the works by LG and Google, and we could be seeing the next Nexus soon. While we’ve already speculated that LG and Google would partner on the G2 and make it a Nexus just
