PS4 Launch is Less Than a Week Away – Where to Play Now!

Image
It’s hard to believe that Sony’s Playstation 4 is coming out in less than a week. It seems like only yesterday we saw Sony’s triumphant E3 reveal of its new box, showing off its next-gen visuals and announcing its relatively affordable price. Gamers in North America will finally get their hands on the PS4 soon, and demo units are in stores now! Play It Now! Sony has been quietly dropping PS4 kiosks in Best Buys, Gamestops, and other stores across the country, giving gamers a chance to try out the new console in person. To find out where you can play one in your area, visit Sony’s  Experience PS4 site .  The kiosks have a few demos, showing a selection of indies along with Fifa 14 and the Knack. Fifa looked great, but just seemed like the current gen game with some higher-res texures slapped on top. The Knack is more of a true next-gen title – built from the ground up for the PS4 – and it’s a fun, inventive platformer to boot. The kiosk I visited, in my local Best Buy, had posters for

It appears as if some  Windows  Phone  users are having some issues with Facebook integration. The problems, which are affecting an apparent small amount of users are effecting the Facebook feed as well as some problems with Facebook chat. If you’ve been experiencing promblems, hold tight as Microsoft will hopefully have a fix for this soon.

Google Play Store Coming to Blackberry 10.2.1 ? Fake Or Real

Image
Okay, so Blackberry has been running Android apps for a while now, basically buy using a virtual machine to do it. Which is cool and all. Well not really. But now there’s a new image making the rounds this weekend that shows the Google Play Store on a Blackberry Z10. This is originating from a  Crackberry forum post , who posted the image you see above. It’s believed to be part of Blackberry OS 10.2.1, which is being tested internally right now. So it’s possible that the user could be one of the very few that still work at Blackberry. Oh but it gets even better, there are even more pictures. So it’s not just a case of the Google Play Store being photoshopped onto the device. Now, we’re thinking this is fake. When news gets to be slow like this, after the Nexus launch is over with. We start seeing a bunch of fake stuff, and we’re guessing this is part of it. Especially since Blackberry is in all kinds of financial trouble right now. However this could be the real deal, but I’ll want t

Google Glass to Rollout to More Customers Says Google Executive

Image
I know a lot of people dispute the fact that Google Glass will change their owner’s lives forever – but I am a firm believer that Glass will change the way their owners view the world. Google has handled this product in surprisingly an organized, systematic, testing and refinement before Glass is ever offered to the general public for sale.  A device of this magnitude has to come out of the stall running, and Google is making sure that there will be ample applications ready and that Glass will be a wearable device that is truly functional. Glass Main Menu Google has increased their pool of additional “testers” by allowing existing users to invite people to be a fellow Glass user, as they are referred. Google has methodically been issuing these invites more frequently and at a Saturday night appearance at the Engadget Expand conference in New York, Timothy Jordon, Google’s Senior Development advocate said, “The goal is to make it (Glass) more available so those who want Glass can get

HTC M8, The One Successor, Coming to All Four Carriers in Q1 2014

Image
Last night, @evleaks  let us know  that the HTC M8 will be hitting all four US carriers in Q1 of next year. Although this really isn’t news since we already knew that. The HTC M8 is the successor to the HTC One which actually did pretty well here in the US. Now it didn’t outsell any of Samsung’s devices, but that’s a tall order anyways since they spend so much on advertising. Which is possible when you are selling millions of devices per day. Earlier in the week we had heard some of the specs for the HTC M8. Which included a 5 or 5.2-inch display. Which I’d expect to stick to 1080p or higher. Along with a Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of RAM. I’d also expect it to have 32GB and 64GB of internal storage and possibly a microSD card slot like the HTC One Max had. We’ve actually been seeing the M8 codename running around the interwebs for a few months now. We’ve heard both that it’s a standalone device and that it’s the successor to the HTC One. I wonder what they’ll call it? The HTC Tw

Oppo to Release a Special ‘CyanogenMod Edition’ Version of the N1

Image
The Oppo N1 was unveiled back in September, and the new Oppo flagship is really top of the line. When the N1 was announced, Oppo also announced to the world that they had partnered with CyanogenMod to pre-load the custom ROM on the handset. Oppo has released a few more details today about the limited edition N1 that will run CM right out of the box. There are going to be two versions of the N1, and they will begin shipping in December. We don’t know anything about pricing yet, but they will probably cost around $600. There will be a limited edition version and a standard version. Both devices will be available internationally. The limited edition Oppo N1 will come pre-loaded with CyanogenMod. It will also come with special CM stickers and packaging, and a smartphone case that will feature the Oppo and CyanogenMod mascots. The standard Oppo N1 will be running Oppo’s ColorROM and will have CyanogenMod pre-loaded, too. You won’t need to root your new N1 or even install a custom recovery t
