Google I/O 2017 schedule gets filled out to help you plan ahead of time

In less than three weeks, thousands of software and hardware developers will be coming to Mountain View, California, and its Shoreline Amphitheater, to attend Google I/O 2017 . The company’s annual developer conference, from May 17-19, is one of the biggest highlights of the year for Android fans, and now Google has posted some more details of the event’s schedule so that attendees can plan which ones they want to check out ahead of time. T-Mobile’s Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will get its Nougat update next week

T-Mobile will be rolling out the big  Android 7.0 Nougat  OS update for another one of the company’s major devices very soon. This time, it’s for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus , the curved smartphone that was first launched in the fall of 2015. Today, T-Mobile’s  project manager Des Smith posted on his Twitter account that the Nougat update has been approved for the carrier’s version of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and it should start rolling out to its owners sometime early next week. Amazon is shutting down its Underground Actually Free Android app program

Many big companies wait until Friday to announce news that would be considered negative by the world at large. Today is no different as Amazon is letting Android app developers know today it will be phasing out its Underground Actually Free app store program. It was meant to replace the company’s previous “Free app of the day” and other free app promotions that it ran though the Amazon App Store. The Underground Actually Free program gave Android device owners a way to get thousands of dollars in apps, games and in-app items for free. In exchange, developers who signed up to have their apps and in-app purchases be part of this program got some money back from Amazon, based on how much time their apps were played on a per-minute basis. New LG G6 mini rumors claim it will also have a 18:9 display

The recently released LG G6 might have a little brother in the near future. A new report claims that the company is working on the LG G6 mini, and it might have the same display ratio as its big brother. See also: Best LG G6 cases 3 weeks ago The report comes from TechnoBuffalo , who claims to have seen an internal LG document about the phone. It says that the LG G6 mini (which is not an official code name, by the way) will have a 5.4-inch display, compared to the 5.7-inch screen on the LG G6. However, it will retain the 18:9 display ratio. It also states that the screen-to-body ratio of the smaller phone will be just below 80 percent. The LG G6 has a 78.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. Other than that, there’s no other information about this alleged LG G6 mini on its hardware specs, its price tag, and its possible release date.
