This week in Apple: iPhone launch date revealed, ‘walkie-talkie’ idea shelved

Disney Update: U.S. residents can pre-order Disney Plus before the official November 12 launch. Both new and current members of Disney’s D23 club can snap up three years of Disney Plus service for $140.97, or just under $4 a month. This is being offered for both paid Gold members of D23 as well as free D23 members. The special deal lasts until September 2, so hurry!  Sign up for Disney Plus via D23 Disney announced well over a year ago that the company plans to launch its own streaming service for its many movie and TV properties.
