New Nexus 10 Specs and Press Image Pop-Up on the Play Store; Promptly Disappear Again

Nexus 10 - 2013

While the new Nexus 7 has been on shelves for a couple of months now, and the Nexus 5 is a pretty poorly kept secret, the Nexus 10 has been a little more elusive. Even still, we know far too much about the Nexus 10 than we should do at this point and now, there’s some more info on the device’s specs. Coming from another of PhoneArena’s tipsers, it looks like the 2013 model of the Nexus 10 briefly made an appearance on the Play Store, revealing specs and giving us another image of the device. However, the appearance was short lived but, enough to give us an idea of what the device is packing under the hood at least.
Nexus 10 Specs Leak

You can make out most of the specs above but, the headlining specs are of course the Snapdragon 800 CPU, the 3GB of RAM and the 9,500 mAh battery. There’s no mention of whether or not this is an ASUS-made tablet or a Samsung-made one but, it looks considerably different to last year’s Nexus 10 but, it does seem to have the same sort of boxy look that the Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition has. No matter what though, those specs make for a pretty powerful device and with 3GB of RAM on stock Android, it would be hard to ever find yourself struggling for RAM while using this baby.
Nexus 10 Sneak Preview
There’s a chance that these Play Store listings could have been faked but, at this point, Google has to do something as the Nexus 5 and now the Nexus 10 have leaked out so many times now that we feel like we should be able to purchase one from the Play Store right now.
Unlike the leak from earlier, there’s no word on when you’ll be able to buy the new Nexus 10 or even pre-order it but, if November 3rd is the date for the Nexus 5, this new Nexus 10 can’t be too far behind. These images look much like an earlier render we saw of the Nexus 10 and the specs show all the right upgrades in all the right places. Such as a bigger battery, up from 9,000 mAh to 9,500 and of course, Android 4.4 KitKat listed as the OS. We’re hoping that these devices launch soon so that you guys can all get your hands on them. We’d like to hear from owners of last year’s Nexus 10, does this look like enough of an upgrade to you? Let us know in the comments or on Google+.
