The Galaxy Note 10 Plus may be one of the most expensive smartphones currently available, but is worth every penny, especially for a power user.

If you’re looking to save a few bucks, the regular Galaxy Note 10 is a great alternative. There are a few compromises along the way — you don’t get as much RAM, the display is smaller and has a lower resolution, the battery has a lower capacity and doesn’t charge as fast, and the camera setup is missing a TOF (time of flight) unit. If you’re okay without this, you can save at least 10,000 rupees with the Note 10.

OnePlus jumped into true flagship territory earlier this year with the OnePlus 7 Pro, and the regular OnePlus 7 almost fell by the wayside. With its mid-year “T” iterations, OnePlus has definitely flipped the script. Many will argue that the regular OnePlus 7T is the more enticing option of the company’s latest releases.

The 7T gets all the features that made the Pro versions so good. A 90Hz display and an upgraded processor lend to the phone’s ultra-smooth feel. The updated triple-rear camera system is one of the best you can get in its price range. And then there’s the price point.

To put it in context, the 7T is around 13,000 rupees cheaper than the 7T Pro, and more than 30,000 rupees than the Galaxy Note 10 (not even the Plus). Only Xiaomi has pushed the boundaries of price vs specs more (see below), but the 7T has its fair share of advantages over the Redmi flagship.

That’s not to say that the 7T Pro isn’t fantastic. It’s, unfortunately, a minor upgrade over the 7 Pro, and you will be fine if you get the latter. Compared to the 7T, the Pro version offers a larger and higher resolution display, a slightly larger battery, and an all-screen front that I personally prefer. Whether that’s worth the extra chunk of money is up to you.

It’s not just the design either, with features like Air Triggers and a secondary USB-C port adding to its pedigree. Beyond gaming, the ROG Phone 2 surprises with excellent cameras and unbeatable battery life.
