Update: October 28, 2019 (10:53 a.m. ET): Last week, Samsung accidentally rolled out the One UI 2.0 beta program for the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. The company pulled the update soon afterwards, telling users the update would be rolled out again this week.

Now, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus One UI 2.0 beta update is rolling out again, this time for good. SamMobile reports that multiple Note 10 users in Germany have received the update on their devices. We do not know if the update is available in other parts of the world, but we will be sure to update this article as we learn more.

The Galaxy Note 10 line launched with Android 9 Pie. Like most Android flagships, these are expected to receive at least two major updates in their lifetimes. The first major update will be Android 10, which publicly launched toward the beginning of September. It’ll take a bit longer for Samsung to roll out Android 10 to the Galaxy Note 10 line, but it should only take a few months at most.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus‘ received its first update in August. It didn’t include new features, but SamMobile reported that it included the August 2019 security patch.

The update also improved the performance of the fingerprint sensor, camera, and more with software version N97*FXXU1ASH5. Here’s the full changelog:

  • The performance of fingerprint recognition has been improved
  • The performance of touch screen has been improved
  • The stability of camera has been improved
  • Camera picture quality has been improved
  • The security of your device has been improved

The October 2019 Android security patch rolled out to Exynos variants of the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus on October 7. The patch brought with it some camera quality enhancements and keyboard tweaks.
