What Makes the Moto G So Special?

Image
Today in Brazil, after weeks of anticipation, Motorola unveiled their newest smartphone for the masses –  The Moto G . The Moto X was the start of something special between Google and Motorola, and the newest Moto G is the continuation of their philosophy of giving the consumer great value for their money. There will be 500 million smartphone purchasers in the next year that cannot afford a $700-$900 flagship smartphone – they are stuck either buying a new, cheap device that really cannot give them a good experience or they must buy an older, flagship device that is outdated and cannot possibly give them a good experience – enter the affordable Moto G…a new smartphone at a reasonable price and with high quality, and value for their money. With the Moto G, Google and Motorola concentrated in four major areas: Good Display – 4.5″ 1280×720 HD resolution with 329 ppi Good battery Life – 2070mAh battery for all day service Performance – Qualcomm 400 Quad-Core processor running at 1.2GHz wit

Moto G Specs Leak Out Once Again

The Moto G is set to be announced tomorrow and in the wake of apparently “disappointing” sales of the Moto X, it might well be the device that gets people talking about Motorola outside of the US. All signs are pointing to the Moto G being a budget minded device, one that delivers a decent enough experience without having to cost as much as other devices. Which flies in the face of their past offerings at the low-end, with much different designs from their high-end cousins. Specs wise, we’re not looking at

For now, the teaser page  Moto-g.com  doesn’t reveal much aside the aforementioned date, but the tiny planet theme and the fact that the November 13 date is displayed in multiple languages suggest that the Moto G will enjoy an international release, just like rumors predicted. Users can sign up for an online live announcement, so some kind of livestream launch event is possible. The Moto G leaked last week in a promo card from UK retailer Phones4U showing a 4.5-inch HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, a 5MP camera, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. However, the Moto G’s most alluring feature will probably be its low cost – if the Phones4U leak is accurate, the device will sell for just £135 ($215) unlocked, turning it into a great proposition for anyone interested in a decent budget ph
