Stock on these new Nexus devices usually sells out pretty quickly. Its predecessor, the Nexus 4, is still a good Android phone. Should you upgrade to the Nexus 5? If you’re a hardcore tech geek, the answer is probably yes. But you should still know what you are getting in to. Before you make a decision to purchase a Nexus 5, take a look at the comparison we have put together and see if the upgrade is worth it to you. Nexus 5 to Be First With MEMS Camera, Faster Shutter Speed

The leaked logs from an errant Nexus 5 just seem to be the gift that keeps on giving. Now,  AndroidWorld.it   have uncovered more information on the device’s hardware. This time around, things are focused on the device’s camera. Which just so happens to be much more than  just  another 8MP sensor. When sifting through more and more logs, the enterprising Italians came across some information about the Nexus 5′s camera. Specifically the model number: “imx179″. Which, with a quick Google brings you to  this pdf . So, just what on earth is special about this MEMS camera module? Well, from a sensor point of view not much at all. You’re looking at an 8MP BSI sensor at 1/3.2″, which isn’t very impressive at all. Where DigitalOptics’ MEMS module comes into its own is through the use of micro-mechanics that drastically improves shutter speeds and reduces blur. It’s also designed to focus and refocus incredibly quickly before you hit the shutter button. Basically, this isn’t going to be the bes

It seems like every year Google tells us the camera on the Nexus is better and it’s great. I almost think that they are lying to me. Now I haven’t owned the Nexus S or Nexus One. But I have owned the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4. Both had some pretty bad camera’s. Now I won’t say they were unusable. But when you see cameras like the one on the Galaxy S4, or the LG G2, or the HTC One, it kinda makes you jealous that your precious, stock Android Nexus does not take great pictures like those devices. Now we’ve speculated the camera on the Nexus 5 already, and how it could be a 13MP camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) like on the LG G2. But we really don’t know for sure. All I know is, I want a better camera. There are all kinds of new camera technology out there. From Motorola there’s the ClearPixel. From HTC there’s the UltraPixel. And everyone else it’s just the Megapixel. Now the ClearPixel camera adds a white pixel in there so you can potentially get better pictures. However, fr
