Render Leaks for the HTC One Max – If you Thought the Galaxy Note 2 Was Huge, Think Again

We’ve been learning more and more about the HTC One Max, which is due to be announced pretty soon and will be part of the One family along with the HTC One and One Mini, which are 4.7 and 4.3 inch devices respectively.
Well earlier today, our favorite leaker and tipster Evleaks has published the render of the new HTC One Max on his brand new Google+ account. Make sure you guys follow him. As far as the render goes, it’s not much that we didn’t expect. It appears to have the same One design, with the 5.9-inch display up front and the boomsound speakers and the home and back buttons on either side of the HTC logo.
As far as the specs go, we’re expecting a 5.9-inch 1080p display, powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 3300mAh battery, along with an UltraPixel camera (hopefully better than 4MP) along with HTC’s Boomsound speakers, which are pretty awesome by the way.
So far there’s no official word on when HTC is slated to announce the One Max, but we’re expecting soon. Especially with the latest marketing blitz that HTC is putting out about something big coming. That pretty much screams the One Max. We could see it at IFA next month in Berlin. Since Samsung is announcing the Galaxy Note 3 there and Sony is rumored to be holding an event the same day to announce the Honami that’s been rumored for, what seems like, ever. If HTC does hold an event at IFA, it would make it a bigger trade show than CES and Mobile World Congress. Both of which we saw pretty much no news out of. We’ll be keeping an eye on it to see what happens.
How many of you would love to see a bigger version of the HTC One? I really liked the HTC One, but I’m afraid that the 3300mAh battery might be its downfall yet again. That seems to be one of HTC’s issues along with their marketing. I’m hoping Motorola can show them how it’s done when they market the crap out of the Moto X. Let us know in the comments below what your thoughts are.
